Second adjustment

#1 Post by autumnl »

Today's appointment was relatively short and sweet. Got a new wire on the bottom (.016 stainless no circles- whatever that means) and new "blue" type elastics. Same horizontal configuration. Kept the same wire on top. Lilac colored ligs. He said once the gaps close up a bit more, powerchains will close them the rest of the way. Then we will work on the overbite. I will be enjoying my mashed potato supper tonight. Two years seems like such a long time lol. Pretty excited that I'm getting a cleaning at next months appointment :-*

I had my second adjustment yesterday too and now have a big gap between my teeth. I cant wait for the power chain. I want it closed! :FeelSick:

Be careful what you wish for  .
Just kidding. Those chains will do the trick, though. Best of luck to you.

These tighter elastics are REALLY moving things along. I can actually see my teeth moving into the extraction gaps. Excited and a bit weirded out when I look at them lol. I only work seasonally in the summer- which ends in October- so luckily I won't be smiling at guests with huge gaps between in my teeth. On the flip side, my teeth have been throbbing alot lately and am back to softer foods for now. It's worth it when I see the progress, though.
