Spacer pain relief

#1 Post by Allyd »

I got spacers but they feel like my jaw is being ripped out. I have to have them for a little over a week and i can't even eat with them without feeling excruciating pain. I got 4 on top and the contact between the teeth was so tight it took 3 doctors to get them in. I am taking advil and Tylenol constantly but don't seem to be getting results. Do you have any ideas on easing the pain?

Ice water helps alot. Swish it all around. It doesn't really help to be able to eat anything, but it makes the achiness a bit more tolerable.
