So after years of excruciating migraines, I decided to get braces to fix my jaw alignment. Even though my teeth were fairly straight prior to being braced, I had a very deep bite. I am a grinder and have a case of TMJ. I have had braces since August 4th of 2014. It is going well, but this week I am hurting more that I have in a long time with them! I don't know what gives, but as with anything else in life, this too shall pass!
