Teeth look so yellow in braces..... Help!!
So I've had my braces on for 3 weeks andy teeth look so yellow below the lower brackets on the bottom and above the upper brackets on my top.....! It's disgusting.
Is the glue stained? Is that possible? Or are my teeth staining!
Before I got the braces my teeth were white and people used to comment on how white they were, now I think they look disgusting.
What can I do? Xx

So I'm seeing the same issue and from what I've read it's the glue that has that color and not the teeth. I'm asking my ortho at my next visit.

Oh when is your next visit? Mine is 2 weeks away ;-(

My glue stained a bit as well. You probably notice it way more than anyone else does. I'm not sure there's much you can do about it.
Mine come off on March 2nd... I can't wait to get a good cleaning and whitening!

I have opted to eliminate all sugar from my drinks. I only use spends.
. I use crest pro health whitening and also get my teeth cleaned twice a year by one dentist and twice a year by a student and stagger the visits. So yep I'm anal, every 3 months!
Have u tried using a straw?

Yes I try the straw!! I'm going to the hygentist for a good clean next week so I hope that will help. At the momment I don't have a whitening toothpaste but I think I'm going to get one and see if that helps!!

Not planning the hygienist visit till July (insurance coverage). Not too worried as it's not that visible (no one has remarked on it yet) and I haven't hit that self conscious stage.
I alternate between Crest Complete with Whitening and Arm & Hammer Sensitive (Enamel Strengthening).
I also rinse with Crest Pro Health Complete (Fluoride Rinse - Alcohol Free).
Pretty much OCD about brushing after I eat as well.

I too use the pro health. I don't like how purple spit stick to my braces though but it goes away rapidly anyway.
Wish I could be diligent enough to brush my teeth after every meal. I don't know if it's winter or what but I only brush mine once or twice a day. I mean I always rinse well and mirroring check and use an interdental brush to clean up though.
My favorite tooth brush is the oral b 3d white rechargeable, the Butler mini soft brush for individual bracket cleaning and under my TPA w/ acrylic button.
Also! I despise super floss! If I use regular waxed floss and keep it dry I can thread it thru perfectly and still get that nice snap between teeth!

Yeah I'm hating the super floss as well. Alternating between regular floss and a WaterPik currently.
After a meal when I'm out and about (Work, other events) - i'm rinsing, using an interdental brush and a GUM soft toothbrush.
At home (morning and night), I have my Phillips Soniccare ProResults toothbrush with the small brush head.

OMG, I guess you haven't heard? Crest Pro Health mouthwash stains horribly! I used a bottle over the summer and my teeth never looked worse. Finally realized what the problem was and switched back to my regular ACT and problem went away. If you google it, you'll see. It's even mentioned on Proctor & Gamble's own website due to complaints, I'm sure. http://news.crest.com/faq-item/health-r ... eeth-brown
