Help! How can I relieve this swelling?

#1 Post by MrsCharisma »

Even before braces (and during) I would mistakenly do something to inflame my frenum tissue. Well now that's complicated by the bonded retainer.

It is swollen around my retainer and it hurts :/

Hey!
I can't see pics due to too few posts, but you should tell your dentist. There's a relatively simple procedure to treat tight frenulum, and it would be more than indicated if it becomes inflamed easily.
