First Adjustment!

#1 Post by ashgerg »

So I had my first adjustment this morning, which is 6 weeks from getting my braces on!
I'm excited to say that these 6 weeks have FLOWN by - and I cannot wait to see more results!

I have high canines and I got them tied to the arch wire, and a powerchain going from my canine to my molar bands to bring them down - finally!
(They weren't in the archwire before)

As I mentioned before, I had to get the baby teeth that were under my canines pulled a few weeks back & now we are bringing the canines into their proper position.

They also put on a thicker archwire, which is causing a little bit of sensitivity but it's nothing too bad!

Hopefully they will put my bottom braces on soon as well and we can really get things moving!

Hi, my first adjustment is in two weeks. I have lots of questions for my ortho as I feel I now know a lot more that when I was given that first detailed explanation of future treatment. Most of it went over my head. At least after the first adjustment and with a thicker wire you must feel like something is happening and progress is being made.
