At the end if my treatment I will have to wear retainers. Which are better in your opinion? My treatment include Essix (Vivera) retainers but Im not sure if the Hawleys are better...

Depends on your case as to which one is a better choice.

I didnt have a choice so you may want to ask your Ortho what will be better for your case. I have Essix and only wear it at night now. I havent had any problems except for plaque buildup but I have recently solved that with a minor tweak to my cleaning routine.

In my case I have double bite and teenth grinding. My dentist told me that she would fit bonded retainers plus Essix in my case but I read in this forum that some people get both Essix and Hawley and switch them...

Any member that has tried both, which one is more comfortable? I heard that some of you have both, maybe its the best option....

I had Carriere Distalize with an Essix retainer on my lowers before I got my braces. Not being able to drink coffee or red wine with it in, because it will stain, was agony. I'm still very early into my treatment, but if I can get both, I probably will.
