Hello all. I am new to this website. Anyway, help me please. I got my braces exactly one month ago (March 18) and I need help. So, obviously, I have never had my wires tightened yet and as you may know, the first wire is always thin and somewhat flimsy. But I need some help! I was being stupid and screwing around by examining my braces and POP! The stop popped out of my front bracket and I do not know how to freaking pop it back in. I was in the bathroom for literally one hour trying to pop the stubborn piece of metal back in. What should I do? And no I'm sorry I can't go to the dentist it is Saturday tomorrow. I'm screwed, sooo help!!! On a serious note.
Thanks!

Just call your ortho and schedule an appt for as soon as possible, it's not a big deal
they'll fix it

Don't dilly-dally in getting it fixed, but your wire not being connected to one bracket for a couple days is not going to set you back by any measurable amount.

I agree with the others. You're fine. Call the ortho and get an appointment as soon as you can, but this isn't going to prolong your treatment.
