What sort of braces did you get? I'm 10weeks into ceramic Clarity SL upper and lower @50 prepping for jaw surgery in September :-1

Welcome! I see you are a future surgery patient. I suggest you make a stop over at the Orthognathic surgery board. There is a wealth of information specific to jaw surgery, as well as a very supportive community who would be delighted to meet you.

Sorry 'bout that, I disappeared for a few days. I got the classic metal braces, which was the preference of my orthodontist. And that's okay with me, I've read several people say they wish they had just gone ahead and gotten metal. Now everyone is talkin' 'bout my grill. Funny.

I appreciate that. I've been all over that place, and will probably lurk there for quite a while.
