Super sensitive teeth after filling, pre-braces

I can't tell if it is my tooth that I just got filled or the one next to it but it is REALLY sensitive to cold all of a sudden. Is this normal? I huuuurts!

Thanks! Is still hurting but it's getting better. It's been 17 days since they were done.

I had 6 fillings done last year and they were very sensitive for about a month. I was concerned and called my dentist and they told me to give it some time, because the deeper the cavity the more sensitive it will be after the filling is done, but a month after they got better and they do not bother me at all.

Sensitive to hot/cold should be fine; the filling probably conducts temperature better than the natural tooth did. If it starts hurting all the time, you have sharp pains upon pressure, or you start having swelling, then you would need to see your dentist.
