Can't stop staring at my teeth! :-D

#1 Post by MrsCharisma »

Yesterday was adjustment #9. I've been braced for almost 9 months with a minimum of 9 months to go :)

I only got my ligs changed yesterday. Still in full powerchain up top, one slightly stubborn gap between my lateral and canine on the right, but he's not worried. Once that space closes, we'll start tweaking my bite, which apparently isn't too bad.

I started out with a 5 mm diastema between my centrals and a 60% deep bite (though I'm not sure what a "normal" overlap is). I had some minor alignment issues (like a narrow lower arch, etc).

I know I have a ways to go yet but, I am currently fascinated with my teeth. I can't wait to see the final results when I'm done!

I got caught with a mirror in my hand a couple of times by my colleagues, while I was wearing braces.

It is super bright isn't it?! LOL! And there's no camera flash or anything! It even made me drink my coffee through a straw again today.
