Wow! I have a lower eye tooth like yours. What made them determine you had to have one pulled? I'm missing a molar so there is room for mine...wonder if it will throw my jaw off? I don't want a lop sided jaw :(

Funtobeme - My jaw is really small and the crowding was so bad there just wasn't any room without jaw surgery. At 47, I wasn't up for jaw surgery if we didn't have to do it. I was a good candidate for the lower incisor extraction so after a lot of angst and research I went for it. The deciding factor was really that the oral surgeon had the exact same thing done and when I saw his results, I was in. Hard to be an adult professional women who speaks in front of an audience for work and have a gap in the front, but the ortho said it would only take about 2 months to close most of the gap and she was right. It's not for everyone for sure but it was good for me so far.

Fantastic. These posts really make me feel good about the decision I'm about to make.
I can't wait for my teeth to look like that.
