Should I use denture cream to keep my retainer in place?

#1 Post by bottlecap1990 »

I just got my retainers but my bottom ones come off during sleep at I found them next my pillow. My ortho made a new mold And it'll be about a month until I get the new one. Meanwhile she told me to wear this one.

Do you think it's safe to wear denture cream on my retainer?

As long as the retainer is acrylic then it should be no problem. I wear an acrylic flipper and the more my teeth move, the worse it fits. Without the adhesive, I would not be able to wear it.
