Help! I think my ortho misplaced the bracket. Is he blind?

#1 Post by Mirai404 »

I think my ortho placed the bracket at my left central lower incisor in a crooked way causing my tooth to be lower and slanted....

My ortho won't be happy about it if he finds out I'm seeking opinions online. but oh wells, it's my teeth!

I've talked to my ortho about it during the last adjustment but he just used an explorer and tell me, "no, it is not. the bracket is centralized." I said my tooth looks higher than before. He talked to me about mamelons. I know I have mamelons but my mamelons are intact because I don't bite with my front teeth for some other reasons.

I went home feeling abit uncertain about what he said. and went home to sleep and the next day... voila!!! my lower central incisor is definitely much higher and slanted than the other. I am very very upset and concerned at this point.

I've checked my xrays and definitely, both of my central incisors should be of the same height.

Before I'm going to complain at my ortho's office in the next adjustment (I'm going to fight for repositioning of my bracket because the tooth look like it is going to get more slant due to the position of the bracket. I don't think bending of the wire is going to help at this point because I think he's going to use niTi wire still), I really hope that I can get some opinions here. I don't want to create drama at the ortho's office. so please help! :)

I would appreciate any opinions. I thank you in advance :-1
