First big thing you did after your braces came off

I'm scheduled to be debanded on Monday morning. Been waiting for this date for 20 months.

Anybody do anything special to celebrate? Did you eat something that you stayed away from because of your braces? Have a party?

I've got big dinner plans Monday night with an ex-girlfriend and her friend. They took care of me for a week after I had jaw surgery. They were there to make sure I took my medication as directed, went to the store to get stuff, made sure I stayed hydrated, etc. I told them when the braces come off, I'm taking them out to a fancy dinner as a thank you.

What did you end up eating? I cant wait to get mine off I am dying to eat caramel and anything gooey like a bag of sour patch kids. :-*

Need curry-ceramic braces with clear ligs.

Eating ribs will be good to an eating generally without fear or stuck food etc

Going out with your ex girlfriend? Bet she's going to be wishing you were back together now you have good teeth

Estimated Debrace Date: 14th April 2013
Real Debrace Date 18th June 2013

4 extractions, upper ceramic brackets and lower metal to fix overjet and overcrowding.

Congrats. Hopefully the 20 months went by fast for you. ( I am about 8 months in now, 12 to go)

I'm going to start dating again!
Class II moderately deep overbite, mild crowding.
Braced on January 19, 2011. Debraced on December 16, 2013.
2 years, 11 months in braces.

I've found I get more attention now I have braces than I did without!!

I don't think I'm far enough into braces to decide what I'll do when they come off, getting my teeth whitened and taking LOADS of photos will be near the top of the list!

I just plan on going out to a good place and just ordering whatever I want. I am going to chew and chew and and just know, I don't have to worry about anything getting stuck.
