Missed Adjustment? Does that cause my teeth to move back?

#1 Post by ITALIANNYC »

I live in NYC so I had to cancel my adjustment appointment today due to the fact there is NO GAS anywhere in this place. I will be going this coming Monday.

Does missing the adjustment make your teeth move back to their original shape, or does the archwire keep it the way it is now? My last adjustment was 4 weeks ago today. I usually go every 4 weeks.

I hope you are doing okay - you will be fine - the wire will not allow the teeth to move back - just stay positive!! Also, stay safe.

Relax you won't have any adverse reactions to this delay. It'll be like any other day you're wearing your braces!

I'm in NYC too this gas thing is annoying. Missed so many appointments this and last week!
