TAD/mini-screw rotated around after chewing?

#1 Post by pellepee »

Hi Everyone,

I have 4 TAD's/mini-screws that are like two conjoined circles exposed inside the mouth. How they are going to be used exactly I am not sure, but my question isn't regarding that. None of them have been loaded yet.

I bit down on a piece of potato tonight which was soft but still firm, and I think one of the lower TAD's moved; like, it rotated around a bit. I don't think this is normal, but has anyone had this problem? I have an appointment with my ortho on Thursday, but should I be looking at making one earlier than that? I have had troubles with these being inserted, to be told I have to have it removed and/or re-placed OMG I would hate that! Just want to prepare so any help is appreciated. :)
