I'm currently in class II elastics. I have one on my left side going from my lower 1st molar to my upper cuspid and double on the right side in the same configuration. I've read many times how you're not supposed to double elastics unless instructed. My question is, what are some reasons for doubling elastics when instructed? Does it move your teeth faster?
