space opening very close to debrace day?

hi everyone, I am supposed to get debraced next week-yay!!!!-so I went in for my final adjustment a few days ago. Now I am noticing a tiny space has opened up between one of my lower teeth, even though my dentist put a "light" powerchain. I am wondering if I should call and ask my dentist or is it normal because the teeth are still moving and the space will close by next week. Anyone experience anything similar?
Thanks for any advice you can give me. :)

I had a small space when de-braced. They closed it with the retainer.

Retainers should do the trick

great! thanks for the replies :)
i have noticed the space has gotten smaller over the last few days, but it is still there; but it is so small that it doesn't really bother me. But if a retainer closes it completely then that's even better! :)

I have spaces on the top between the 1st premolars and my canines. They always been there but they're getting a bit worse but thats to make room so that the rotated canines can fit into place.

I've worn a retainer for my upper teeth for the last 3 nights. It feel tighter than the braces that were taken off!

So like Audra and Braced Surgery Student said, I suspect the reatinor will complete the job.
