I used to floss at least 3x a day, but my ortho stated I was overdoing it and stated that once a day was fine... so I floss at night before bed.

Theres many ways to do it. I use a magnified mirror and I just feed it under the wire. You can also use blue floss threaders and feed it under the wire and floss with the floss. Or you can use something like superfloss by Oral B with a hardened tip and feed that under the wire and floss.

Like everyone else here, once a day for me before bed. I hate doing it once a day, it's a pain in the.... so I am glad I only do it once per day and no more.

Flossing at first with braces is difficult for most people, but soon enough it does become easier.
Braces: Metal fixed upper and lower
Estimated treatment time: 18-24 months
Braces Removed: August 2013 (after 33 months in braces)
Retainers: Upper & lower essix and lower bonded

Once a day for me before bedtime.....although after lunch I usually floss my back teeth, top and bottom, as those are the teeth I chew with most and food always gets stuck back there that brushing/interdental brush does not remove.
