Help!!!

#1 Post by MeMu »

Hello. :D I just got my braces off 7 days ago.
I'm a little nervous about the results. For some reason my top teeth don't fit nicely with my bottoms. I'm not sure why. I had four teeth removed (two on the top and two on the bottom). In addition, I've had braces when I was little but it took for ever for my baby teeth to come out. So, I developed this overjet/overbite combination that I needed fixed. Since I paid for my braces this time, I told my mom about the concerns I had. But she thinks it looks nice and I should not worry. Overall my ortho did a good job. Its just the front four teeth seem alittle odd. And also, the front of my face seems a little dimensional-less around my mouth because they don't seem to fit snugly.
Here are some pictures: (The last one is not my teeth...its how i thought my teeth were suppose to look after braces)...Sorry i don't know how to make the pictures smaller....

My ortho gave me the clear plastic retainers to wear for two weeks and then he plans on giving me some different ones. Do you think I should bring my concerns up? Or does this bite seem fine?

I think you should definitely bring up your concerns with your orthodontist. However, I think your teeth look beautiful! (For what it's worth).

Your teeth look very nice from the picture; I can appreciate your delima as to how good can the result be. I am trusting the Orthodontist for that answer.

If you have some concerns about your teeth, bring it up. I am having uneasy feelings as well about my teeth. Once I spoke to the orthodontist about it, he assured me my teeth will look great.

Your teeth do look amazing! I hope to have the same results when my braces come off.
