1. Where are you located? bouncing between Texas, Israel, and California and various other parts - my esteemed ortho is in Mexico. My goal is to have dentists in all 6 continents do some work on my braces.
2. How much are you paying for your braces? $350 to install braces + $50 for each adjustment visit (which is why I do my own adjustments as much as possibly - saves money)
3. What kind of braces do you have? full metal brackets top and bottom including 7 molar bands. All 28 teeth have brackets and/or bands.
4. What is your estimated time in braces? indefinitely. I've updated my will to specify that my remains be buried wearing my braces. As soon as the archaeologists excavate our civilization, they see my braces they will know that I was super fabulous person within the society and an important specimen to study in order to understand our culture, while all of the regular people in the cemetery will just get logged - nothing special in their teeth to show for their lives except maybe a few fillings.
34 y/o guy with full metal brackets and molar bands since 12/16/2009.
1st Adjustment + secondary molar bands 1/23/2010.
2nd Adjustment 3/27/2010.
3rd Adjustment 5/1/2010.
4th Adjustment 6/11/2010.
5th Adjustment 9/29/2010.
6th Adjustment 2/8/2011.
