Midline shift

#1 Post by jadestar »

I got my 1st adjustment about two weeks ago and I have noticed that my top midline has shifted. It is no longer in the center but veering left. Is this a normal occurrence in the beginning of treatment? At my adjustment, they only changed the o-rings on my upper braces. My ortho office is closed until Monday but I wanted to get some feedback to see if this has happened to anybody.

want to say yes it is...i had a tooth behind my main front two...and even right now was the space was made for the tooth to come forward...my line was off....I was told by the office and friends that it would change over treatment.

There are little things that we will go through to get these teeth straigh. at one point a few months ago i was paranoid my behind tooth was going to need extreme veneer work...but as that time has passed the tooth looks better.

Give it time those teeth will get it right..lol..teeth have to move for the others...when in doubt go see the ortho next week. hope that helps a bit.

good luck!
