Has anyone ever doubled up on their elastics...? I know it is probably really stupid and I should follow the orthos instructions but eh... I couldn't resist. I only have one elastic going from Right upper canine to Last Lower Molar. I think I may only keep it in for an hour.
Definitely not a good idea. If the ortho wanted you to have more pull, he would have used a stronger elastic. You could do more harm than good and throw a lot of things out of balance by doubling up like that. Please, please take the 2nd elastic off
I hadn't thought about that, but now you mention it, I'd love to speed up the process and double up! however, I think the reasonable thing to do is probably stick to the ortho instructions and wait...
