Text Message Abbreviations are Unacceptable on this Board

#1 Post by bbsadmin » Thu May 14, 2009 10:15 pm

I need to jump in here and say that this sort of "text messaging" lingo like the example below is totally unacceptable on this message board. I have said this time and time again, but a lot of people seem to ignore it. So please let me make this perfectly clear: this is a message board for adults, not a cell phone text message or a chat session. It's OK to insert an abbreviation once in a while, but a post filled with shortcut abbreviations is impossible to read and frankly extremely annoying.

Thanks for understanding.
