upper tooth under lower...fixing it ?!

upper tooth under lower...fixing it ?!

Hi,

I have a situation....
When I have closed mouth one of my upper tooth is under the lower one. (sorry, I dont know the english expression fot that anomaly :oops: ) And that tooth have to move to the normal position (get in to the line and "cover" the lower tooth.)
And now the question is, have this will happen? When the upper T. will be in the same position as lower one, they will "crash"?! Will I be able to close my mouth? :lol:

Sorry for kind of strange question, but I am curious :)

You describe a crossbite. When it's being fixed, they can do something so you can't bite down all the way. All your teeth will be moving during treatment and your bite will be changing.
