while braced: retainer on other arch

#1 Post by dimeech » Sat Oct 25, 2008 5:43 am

I will be getting a retainer for my lower arch (upper arch is already braced), and was wondering what it might look like or if it has a specific name (ortho didn't say, and I totally forgot to ask!!).

(An upper canine (baby tooth)will be pulled, the adult snaggly canine that grew in behind will be bracketed, and lowers need to stay FAR away from the newly bracketed tooth!)

Anybody know what this type of retainer is called/have a pic???
