Darn micro screws ... and more

Hi all,
last week I posted this :
viewtopic.php?t=24435
I had an appointment this week, and told about it to my ortho. Indeed it is
very loose, she said. I said it probably could come out even without turning
it. But geeez, I did not mean she should try this. Anyway, she pulled it out
without turning. It worked, but it hurt too. Darn ! But this is not good news
though. There is simply no other place to put it. So, she can't do what was
planned on my right side. Another complication for my case which is already
way too complicated.
She placed the lower braces and used the left micro screw to try to intrude
better my upper (left) molars. The hardware looks now like this :

And the micro screw looks like this :

Doesn't it look like it is caged somehow ?
But now I feel totally not great about what is happening. I know that to
close a bite, just extruding the front teeth is NOT a good idea. It is not stable
afterwards. I did read about this, experienced this before and ... advised this
here several times to other members who got such a relapse later on. This is
just not a good method I know for sure. But now I have this method myself.
Beside this unstable result, I think my bite is way too open to just close it by
extruding the front teeth. Arggg, this is going downhill again ...
