another invisalign going metal

#1 Post by HeyTeach »

OK I am "done" with the invisalign. (6 trays upper arch only) We are not totally pleased with the end result, although it is pretty good. (canine rotation issue) The ortho gave two options...new molds, new trays for refinements, but said he could get faster results with better configuration using brackets for about 6 to 8 weeks...so that's what I'm gonna do.

Right now the buttons are off and I will wear the last tray only at night. (yea I can chew gum again and have a cuppa joe mid day!) and my next appt I will get the uppers bracketed and wired. Uppers should be done by start of summer, lowers by mid August as planned.

I am happy with this.

Rotation issues are a problem for Invisalign. That's also why I had to change to brackets. Good luck!
