cost of a new retainer/ getting fitted?

#1 Post by venusasaboy »

My boyfriends front two teeth are starting to look "buck" and he lost his retainer a long time ago. I was wondering how much it would cost to take him to the ortho and get fitted for a new one. Would a retainer even fix his front two teeth? His bite is perfect.
I'm going to have braces forever :[

The price that my ortho charges for a retainer would be anywhere from 200-500 dollars. But your boyfriends teeth might need to be re-aligned, so if he is not going back to his orginal ortho, then he may have to pay for records and xrays all over again. I would call his orginal ortho and see if he can come in for a follow-up. How long has he been without his retainer?

yes, venus, i`m agree, i would definitely call his previous ortho.
If there is a case you can`t reach your ortho, then he would have to go to a new one and definitely make new patient history with impressions and xrays.
