Last night I dreamt I was biting a chunk of cheese. I've been unable to bite ANYTHING since braces, so was really pleased with myself...until I looked in the mirror and there were no brackets on my front teeth - they were on the floor. I'd hope metal could withstand the force of some soft cheese!
It's all gone a bit dental...

I seriously seem to have a dream every other night about my teeth. It's crazy!

A few nights ago I had a dream that I woke up, looked in the mirror, and my braces were off but one of my front teeth was completely cracked in half. I was flipping out thinking I'd gone through all the trouble for straight teeth just to have it horribly cracked like that.

Last night, I had a dream where I woke up, looked in the mirror, and all the brackets had fallen off my bottom teeth except for two. I ran into my bedroom and searched everywhere in the sheets to find the rest of my braces. LOL

I think my dreams stem from the fact that I know I grind my teeth at night and I'm always scared I'm going to somehow pop off a bracket in my sleep. That's my guess, anyway.

I dreamt last night that my extraction gap finally closed but when I opened my mouth, I realized I was growing two extra rows of "shark teeth" behind my permanent teeth. They were triangular and sharp. I thought, "Great! My ortho will want to charge me extra for bracing these teeth and what will I do will all of them in my mouth?"
