I was told 16 to 18 months. It was 2 years on January 7th 2006. I am now told that May may be the month to get them removed. I don't know what the final stages are but they have moved my appointment from 4 weeks to 6 weeks. They didn't use a powerchain across my top braces but instead took a thin wire and weaved it around the ligatures.
Those of you who are in the final stages before getting your braces removed what are you going through to know the time is getting close?
