I had my fourth adjustment yesterday. The ortho put one power chain on half of my top teeth, and two separate chains on my bottom teeth. Wonder what kind of job power chains do? From what I read from other posts, it seems to be used to close gaps. Though I do have one extraction gap on my bottom right, I don't have gaps on my bottom left or top. So the power chains must serve other purposes. I kind of hearing the ortho saying "start rotating" to the techniician, but I am not sure this is what he is trying to achieve with power chains. Wonder if anybody knows what kind of work power chains do? Thank you.
