Lower expander came out!!! It feels sooo good!!!

My lower expander just came out!!!! Normally I would be worried, but it just feels sooo nice. My expanders were supposed to come out on Tuesday, but the lower one came unglued and came out tonight. Just as I had thought, I have to get used to saying the letter "S" again. I sounded weird the entire time i had expanders, and now I sound weird when I get them off! I could ACTUALLY floss ALL of my teeth on my lower arch. Honestly, I don't think my teeth have EVER felt this clean while I had braces on! On tuesday the upper one comes out too and I get them tightened. What an awesome early Christmas present!

I'm happy to hear that you will be getting both expanders removed. I know it must have made your day when your lower expander came out by itself today.

Just wondering how long you had to wear the expanders and if you had any of the braces placed on your teeth while you had the expanders on.

Did you have the expander with the key?

I had expanders since August 15. Yes, they were the kind were you turn the key. Yes, I do have braces on at the same time (unfortunately).
