Ok - I know this is weird, but here goes nothin.

So I was sitting around last night before I went to bed, and the right side of my top lip and the middle of my bottom lip started itching and feeling kind of weird. I didn't really think much of it, but then I could feel them start to swell! I put some orajel on them before bed just to stop the itching - It felt like I got stung by some kind of bug! :yikes:
However, I did have my ortho workup (molds, pics, etc.) yesturday afternoon, and I remember them having a hard time shoving all those mold trays and mirrors and stuff in my mouth, which just happens to be pretty small.
Has this happened to anyone else? This is the only thing I could think of that might've irritated it.. But it's so strange! I feel like such a turd for asking everyone all of these questions.. I haven't even gotten braces yet and I'm already driving the entire office crazy, hehe. Thanks guys!

Hmm, almost sounds like it could be an allergic thing.
I wonder if the molding compound has latex in it? Some ppl are allergic to that. Hope you get over it soon!
