Invisalign! More Ortho treatment!

#1 Post by lizziebeth1028 »

Hi All - looks like I'll be back for more Ortho treatment. I posted about a month ago how I was not happy with how my first round of braces turned out (braces were removed August 9 of this year). I went back to my original treating Ortho to discuss my unhappiness with my braces results. I was a good discussion, he agreed if I go forward with further treatment and he would not charge for his work, only the materials that would be used. He said he can do additional IPR safely with the hopes of reducing my 6mm overjet the first round of braces left me with. Invisalign would be my best bet. I have an appointment next month to have impressions taken and they will send off to the Invisalign lab to get a mock up of my possible results. If it looks like it will be worth it and additional cost (those trays aren't cheap), I'll be back in 'braces' again. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Great! At least your ortho agrees to continue treatment with no additional cost and more importantly was willing to listen to your concerns and address them. Do update what you end up deciding to do. All the best!
