stupid cheeks

#1 Post by Bracefacemom47 »

Anyone else's cheeks get in the way? Mine are always getting pinched inside. Doesn't help that I suction when my mouth is closed.
Also, eating anything is so annoying now. Food stuck in wires and brackets. Ugh :-+

I used to get alot of cuts in my cheeks in the first few months of my treatment. Subsequently, they only get cut whenever there is movement. Now, I'm in my 9th month of treatment, the cuts seldom happen as my teeth are generally in their desired positions, so not that much movement as compared to the beginning. I also do subconsciously suck in my cheeks for no reason. I'd say it really does get better, so hang in there! The only thing that still annoys me alot is getting food stuck everywhere because I'm ocd af, to the point of altering my eating habits to suit my teeth cleaning antics!
