The end is in sight! (Hopefully)

#1 Post by BrunetteMoment »

I went in for a wire change today, and my ortho said that after this wire we have only one more. He told me that my bite is almost as perfect as we’re going to get it and that he only was to adjust my molars to make a slightly more broad smile. I’m also done using my class II elastics (yay!)

So hopefully this means that the 18 month estimate will be a reality (I’m currently at a year of treatment as of the 31st!)
Damon Metal. 18 months.
Fixing: Overbite, overjet, crowding.

Great news -- but keep in mind that last wire can be in place for quite a while! But just the fact that he is even talking about the end is great news. Some of think that it's a state secret or something. Best of luck to you!

I don't want to rain on your parade but I have been on my last wire on my upper set of teeth for 3 months and on my lower set of teeth for 1 month, I think I have another 3 months to wait
