Feeling excited....

#1 Post by Bikerchick85 »

Sooo... I had an ortho appointment this morning just to get my wires cut and while I was there, the main ortho came over to look at my progress (I haven't seen her since the beginning because she's been at the other location).. and she said, "Wow, we are very very close!"
I probed for a timeframe but she never came back to my chair... but I'm still super excited!! That's the first sign I've received that the end is near!!
I don't know if I can wait a full month until my next appointment!
Anyway, instead of just having my wires cut, she told the assistant to put in a thinner wire on my lowers to help them move faster and I got my powerchains changed. So I had an extra adjustment! :)
Anyway, sorry for the meaningless post... I'm super excited and had to share with people how actually understand how I feel!!!

Not meaningless at all, that's big news! Congratulations and fingers crossed for an early dismissal.

Not meaningless at all. I would be excited too! And yay for the extra adjustment. :P
It sounds like it could be in the next month or so, right?

Thank you everyone for not thinking I was rambling!
I go back on May 15th and will have to have two brackets repositioned on my lower lateral incisors. After that, I suppose it depends on how those teeth cooperate (they haven't been cooperating AT ALL!)
My bite feels good already so I'm hoping around July/August! I can't wait til I actually know THE day I'll be getting them off! I'm soo ready!

It's so frustrating when you're so close you can taste it, but not close enough!
My lower teeth are so triangular they just won't lay right. I swear if I had the money I'd just veneers on the lower 4 front teeth and be done :)
I hope we can be deband buddies in August (or sooner!!!!)
:)

Honestly, I'm kinda ready too but unfortunately my lowers definitely aren't yet. Aw, I hope you're right and we'll both be naked by the end of the summer. :-*
