Maxillary lateral incisor is bigger than the other...

#1 Post by Mirai404 »

I am just wondering how common is that? Anyone here has one tooth that is OBVIOUSLY bigger or smaller than its "twin" (I know that no two teeth can be exactly of the same size and this is part of nature). Example... Maxillary right incisor looks bigger than the maxillary left incisor...

My maxilary lateral incisor is bigger than the other side. Obvious to the eye.
The other lateral incisor is not a peg lateral. But it's of normal size. It's just one is bigger.

My top right lateral incisor is naturally very small, so I'm going to have to get it built up after my treatment. I guess sometimes teeth just come out wonky!

My other lateral incisor is perfectly normal sized though.

Yes my left lateral is much smaller than my right and I may have to get it built up if I finish with a gap between it and my left central. If there is no gap, I will leave it. At the moment, the challenge is still to get it back fully into my upper arch. My right lateral is also still protruding, but I think that is emphasised by the right central being slightly too far back

I'm so glad I'm not the only person in the world with a small lateral incisor :)
