Lower braces agony talking/ sneezing?!

Lower braces agony talking/ sneezing?!

Hi, I've recently had radiance clear bracket braces fitted top (18 days ago) and bottom (8 days ago), and a quad helix. I got 'quite' used to talking with the upper stuff, just lisp occasionally now. However I'm having real trouble with the bottom ones and it's causing a weird pain that almost feels like my bottom jaw/ teeth lock up. Mainly on words with a 'ut' in it like 'cute' or 'f' words and also when I sneeze- its stopped me mid- word with agonising pain, that aches for ages afterwards. It also feels like if I do that thing where you push your lower teeth forward into your lip or push my tongue out to clean it, this causes a LOT of pain too!!!

Is this normal??

Hmm I'm not really sure if that's supposed to be normal. I haven't experienced what you're experiencing at all. If I were you, I'd bring it up to my ortho and see what they say about it.
