Braces off way sooner than expected

#1 Post by felicia »

I was given a 2 years +- 6 months sentence.
I am getting them off in 3 weeks, after only 13 months and 3 weeks of wearing them.
I am the happiest girl on this forum!

That is great news - do you have any tips and advice that could help speed up the time in braces?

Did you end up having to pay less because you finished your treatment early?

I don't know if I have tips...all I can say is that I was careful with everything that was put in my mouth, I never broke a bracket or anything else. And also, when I got my elstics, I wore them exactly as I was told.

You know...that's a good question.
I will ask about it at my appt. It would be nice for that to happen since I still have about 1500 USD left to pay.

It is really unlikely. You pay for the whole process of getting braced not for individual appointments.

Because I am getting debraced, I got very curious about retainers, so, I visited the other group here, the ones who've been debraced. And I read that there can be all kinds of problems with the retainers.....so.....since I still have about 7 months left of payments, I will be strolling in their office everytime I have a problem, without worrying that I will be annoying them. 8)
