Orthodontist time frame

#1 Post by Summer73 »

I've had my uppers on since March and my lowers on since May. Everything seems to be moving quickly in my mouth. I've been taken off of the bite plate as of my adjustment yesterday and a power chain on the uppers added. Is the Orthodontist original predictions of treatment time a higher number than it will actually be or is it about on target? I've been told I'd be in braces for 31 months. My regular Dentist and Hygienist have noticed the change and movement in my mouth. Unfortunately I've been unable to eat anything today really apart from ice cream. I'll get over the adjustment pain in a few days.
I have been sententenced to 31 months.
