YAAAY!!! It's finally here!! I get my top brackets off tomorrow (Tues, June 30) for my wedding (this Friday). I am sooooo excited! I can't wait to brush my teeth without these things on my teeth!! They'll be off until the 15th (I think?)...so mini-vacation for my teeth!! WOO HOOO!!!

(Oh...and I'm sorta excited about my wedding, too. )

PS I swear I posted this several hours ago, but it disappeared. Was it removed by admin, or....????

Thank you everyone!! I'm off to have it done in about 50 minutes!! I'm very, very excited...to the point that I'm kind of being forgetful of how hard it is to get ceramic brackets off!! I'm hoping at least SOME of them will come off a bit more easily. But more than likely, they'll only come off in pieces, then each tooth will need to be filed/sanded down to get all the stuff off. :'( It really irks me that the website for my brackets talks about 'easy debonding' because of the 'mesh backing,' when it's just a joke. It's def. harder than metal brackets!!

Will update you when I get back!!!

Congratulations on your wedding!

Being married to your best friend is one of life's most wonderful experiences. I have been married for a little over two years. So far, it has been wonderful. My husband and I have so much fun.

When I look at the closeup pictures from my wedding day, I wish I was brave a few years earlier and got the braces before

Have a wonderful wedding day!

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! They're off and I couldn't be HAPPIER!!!

The experience was a TINY BIT traumatic, but nothing terrible. I only gagged once..and that's great for me-a gagger. For a little while, it sort of smelled like smoke when they were using the drill to get the cement off. She also nicked my gums in a few places so it's a little bloody, but hopefully that'll heal quickly.

I can NOT believe how awesome my teeth look!! I seriously don't want to go back to get them put back on in 2 weeks...LOL! I would say I HIGHLY recommend to ANYONE to take a break from your braces if you can, but then, if you felt like me, but had poor will power, you probably wouldn't get them back on. LOL

Anyway...on to the pics...which I'll include in the next post.

Can I just say one more time "WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!" ? I can't stop running my tongue over them! They are SOOOOO smooth! :) :) :) :) :)

I can't see your pictures for some reason. There is just a question mark there. :(

Anyways, congrats on your wedding!

Congrats on the wedding! I read your topic about getting the brackets of. Which brackets are you wearing? Radiance? I got those because after I did research they came out to easy debond with minimal tooth and enamal damage. Did you feel your teeth felt different?
