W00T! I have my debanding date set!!!

I know ive been mostly MIA on these boards, but two years and some months have FLOWN by and now i have a debanding date!! My appointment was on Wednesday, Nov. 19 and my ortho did the molding for my lower teeth and we talked about getting me a permanent retainer (which I have been searching any and all posts on this site about lol). He told me my debanding date and I could hardly believe it. To be fair, he did notify me that I would be getting debanded soon, but its different to have a date, lol.

I havent posted pics or anything, but ive come a long, long way and its kind of surreal to think that these braces will FINALLY be coming off and that I will have the straight teeth Ive been waiting most of my life for. I dream about what I will look like while trying to keep my expectations really low, lol.

Anywho, thas all, im just really happy that my braces are finally comin off. I have had my braces on since September 29, 2006 and will be getting them off on January 8, 2009. I moved in the middle of my treatment across the country, but I have kept on schedule.
