OK so here is my story. I have always hated my smile. I try to hide it without even thinking about it. I have a class 3 open bite. I cant just bite with my front teeth. The dentist said I needed braces when I was younger but my Mama was a single Mom and couldnt afford them. I finally decided to bit the bullet and do it myself. The ortho said a 30 month treatment.
I got spacers last Thurday and so far so good. Oh I also have gum loss on the bottom two front teeth.
The plan for me is a 30 month treatment. Starting with spacers on top. I go back in two week for them to make a impression of my teet. Then two weeks later for an expander. He want to expand the top before braces and the bottom remove one from the bottom and brace them.
