Swallowed spacer when drunk!

#1 Post by newmetal »

Went out last night to enjoy my last night clubbing without braces and swallowed one of my spacers!Have any of you done this? It is not a comfortable experience as throughout the night i could feel it in the back of my throat.

Couldn't you have washed that thing down with another pint?

I swallowed a bracket, but I didn't even notice when it happened. And I was completely sober! Thankfully, it wasn't attached the archwire (last molar) so I don't need to go in to get it replaced just yet.

Fun topic.
I swallowed one of my spacers...I think. I was eating lunch and afterwords I noticed a spacer was missing so I assume I ate it :D

I would've been drinking more to get it unstuck from the back of my throat! That would annoy me. Just make sure you get it replaced.

Oh, that is funny. I didn't do spacers, but have swallowed plenty other equipment, including a bracket and countless elastics. And this is when sober.
