Has anyone here has experience working with a family dentist?

Hey,

Is hiring a family dentist can help to solve dental emergencies? My son has dentophobia. Last day we had a discussion at home regarding this. One of my cousins suggested that hiring a family dentist can help solve this issue. As a family dentist creates a friendly atmosphere for children, I think he will adjust to the dentist and the atmosphere. Has anyone here has experience working with a family dentist?

I'm not so sure. But I guess they can be more helpful than general dentists.

Okay. I plan to consult a family dentist(https://www.dentistoakville.com/service ... dentistry/) by the end of this week. After discussing the dentophobia issues only, I would conclude whether to hire one. I have done a random search on Google, and there are no related results.
