kipepeo I'm about an hour west of Richmond...it's soupy today, so hot and humid.

Wow, you're teeth are gonna be gorgeous when you're finished! They're so white and they're shaped perfect. I love to see photos, especially when you start to see movement, you're gonna be amazed by the 3rd month!!!

Yeppers, they're on the move, perfectly normal. That ain't nothin', wait until you start hearing loud cracking and popping and clicking...now that's a little unnerving to say the least. But it's all normal.

Glad to hear everything is going well. I can't wait to have my teeth filed to perfection. That's one of those "extras" that makes a huge visual impact.

Bendy straws are a must aren't they? I even drink my coffee with them...now that feels un-natural. I don't even let any liquid other than water to linger in my mouth...straw directs it straight to my throat and I don't get to taste all that much...I miss it.

Everything Nettie said! :thumbsup: I did whiten my teeth but I started the whitening process 1 month before getting braces as I use the trays. I ate a bunch of stuff that I knew I couldn't have for the duration of time in braces. And...I bought all my cleaning weapons to have everything ready. Stock...

That happened to me too, my upper canine's come down on my lower canine brackets, they did at first and nearly four months later they're still doing it. I'm careful not to make contact too hard as #1 it hurts and #2 I don't want to lose a bracket. Good luck, it's a pain!

I posted photos the day I got my braces and now I post progress photos all the time, the people here are probably sick of seeing my mouth! I even blog about it on blogspot, I'm obsessed!

Wow, I don't know what to say except what I would do and that would work only for me. First, I'd get a second opinion. Secondly, I wouldn't stop treatment until I achieved the result I was going for. If I went through something for 4 years I would not give up and make it all for nothing, I'd ride it...

I did Zoom a few years back and was fine -- first the light, then the trays with gel once a month. Maybe it varies by person. I plan to do it again once my braces are off. Consider yourself very lucky!!! Check out reviews on the internet...way more negatives than positives, I'd say 85% neg to 15% p...

One thing I will say is while wearing braces your lips look a little bit fuller...YAY for that right?
