What? Already? Yes it has indeed been two months! In fact, the 2 month braceaversary went by without me noticing! I've just returned from my first adjustment, and I have now got my lower arch braced too, as well as a thicker wire up top :D Would you like some pics? Of course you would :P Fir...

I think you'll find that dreams like the one you just had are very very common for people undergoing dental/orthodonic treatment. I would imagine that they may even become more common while you have braces since from time to time your teeth may actually be loose, but thats all part of the movement p...

Thanks guys :D It really is great to see movement. When you look everyday, you don't really notice anything different, its only when you do before and after pics that things really show up. That was the case here. I was starting to think that the brace wasn't working! Something else kind of exciting...

Congrats on getting started! :D It will be SO worth it in the end :) Within a week you'll be eating normally, I'm sure. It really doesn't take that long to get used to your braces. Just avoid curry like the plague if you have clear ligs! lol In response to some of your observations: They do indeed f...

Your extractions still look very fresh! But they do look clean. Mine were a bit nasty, since the dentist had to chip away and dig for my roots, so I was left with large cuts from the extraction sites extending upwards. I think its pretty common to have an ache after an extraction, I did too....

Congrats! They look great :) You can't face eating? To be quite honest, eating is the way to get used to eating. It feels weird at first, but you do need to chew, as that helps things settle in by promoting blood flow and stimulating your teeth and gums. You may find that it hurts to chew at first, ...

Congratulations on passing the point of no return! :D For me, my extractions were by far the worst part of my experience to date. Waiting for the bleeding to stop is a real anoyance too. It took a few days before I was comfortouble enough to brush my teeth without being extra carful about the extrac...

Hey guys! Thanks :D I would think the small mouthpiece on the trumpet would make the braces cut into your lips too much. Sadly the trumpet playing is not improving. I can play ok for about 20-30 minutes then it really starts cutting into my lip, and then I have to wax up to prevent further shredding...
